The Free Holiness Pentecostal Church of Corbin, Kentucky must have had some extraordinary music, Their pastor, Ernest Phipps, was an outstanding singer who recorded several times with members of his congregation including McVey and the Johnsons. The Phipps sides, though, are full-throttle Holiness shouting, in contrast to the quiet intensity of this smaller group.
