It was’ said that the Shelor brothers could begin& tune at the back of the house, walk around opposite sides, and be playing the same note when they met at the front. Together with Jesse's wife and father-in-law, they made the difficult journey from their home in Meadows of Dan VA to Bristol, though they declined to try it again when invited back the next year.
