Also known as "Billy in the Low Land." it can be traced to "Braes of Auchentyre" reel in 1000 Fiddle Tunes and to "Beaus of Albany" reel in Howe. Howe and 1000 have different titles for at least eleven other tunes. There are at least twenty in 1000 which have two or more titles. Recorded by Bill Driver in July, 1950
