    Caplinger (1889-1957) of Kanawha Station WV, and Patterson (1893-1950) of Oliver Springs TN (who was Ramona Jones’ uncle, by the way) are heard here at the beginning of a career that extended through the 30's and 40's, mostly on WCHS in Charleston WV. The other musicians are the Rainey family from east Tennessee, who also made a few records of their own,
