Paul Miles (1900-82) and Guy Brooks (1896-1958) met Crenford and Thompson at a fiddlers' convention in 1927. Enjoying the music -- and the fox hunting -- of their native Alleghany County, North Carolina, they formed:,a band which performer locally and recorded twice.
