This number is one of four parts of "Blue Bird Quadrille," published in Chicago in 1899 by E. T. Root. In the early publications the music for a quadrille usually consisted of at least three-more often four or five-numbers in different keys and tempos. Today's usage of quadrille commonly refers to a single number in 6/8 tempo. Recorded by Bob Walters in November, 1949
