    The McKinneys and-Chisms had been playing together for several years when John and Milton Pope, who owned a music store in their home town of Searcy, Arkansas, hired them for a recording session they had arranged with the Victor company, The band had a financial falling out with the Popes after the records came out, and never got a chance to record again.
