  • Kansas City Rag

Atchison (1912 -), Hurt (1901-67), and Taylor (1901-62) were from Bill Monroe's home town of Rosine, Kentucky, and did occasional pieces in the traditional Kentucky style even after they had been a cowboy band for years. They broke up in the 40s, and Atchison went on to Hollywood, where his left-handed fiddling was featured in numerous cowboy flicks.

    Jack Taylor, guitar.
