Leather Britches

Tune Title

As played by "Stick" Osborn. The basic movement in "Leather Breeches" is founded on "McDonald's Reel," which is carried in most books of jigs, reels, and hornpipes. The tune is usually played in three parts by most fiddlers, but extra embellishments are often heard and usually include a bowing effect parallel to the strings to imitate the sound of machine stitching
