    Gid Tanner and his Skillet Lickers: Gid Tanner, Gordon Tanner, fiddles; Ted Hawkins, mandolin; Riley Puckett, guitar.

    The original Skillet Lickers broke tp after their last Columbia session in 1931. But in 1934, RCA Victor recorded several older groups to begin théir new discount Bluebird label. Gid (1885-1960) was still active, so he organized a new Skillet Lickers, including his son Gordon (1917-82), Ted Hawkins, and Riley Puckett (1894-1946). They Recorded 41 sides, including the Riley Puckett solo on Track 15,
