    Instead of bringing the Carters back to their main studio in Camden another time, the Victor company sent them, in the fall of 1929, to meet the road crew in Atlanta, where they recorded a dozen sides over a three-day period. About half of these were released immediately, and the rest doled out over the next four or five years.
