Frank Shelton (1902-63) was a barber in Corbin Kentucky, who seems to have known most of the players and singers in that musically rich area. Together with Alfred Karnes and the McVey and Johnson families (all heard on previous tapes), he traveled to the legendary Bristol Session, recording only four songs and never returning to record again,
