Paddy In London

  • Paddy In London

The Irish seem to have discovered the banjo during the mid-nineteenth- century minstrel show craze in the British Isles. The Flanagans, probably born in Ireland, were living in New York in the twenties, and recorded a variety of dance tunes, songs, and comic skits for several companies.

The Flanagan Brothers: Mike Flanagan, tenor banjo; Joe Flanagan, accordion; unknown piano.
