    Kirk (1899-1983) and Sam (1894-1975) were from Franklin, Tennessee. They joined the Grand Ole Opry shortly after its beginning in 1925, and played there almost every Saturday night for the rest of their lives.

    The McGee Brothers: Kirk McGee, vocal, fiddle; Sam McGee, guitar.
