Thunderbolt Hornpipe

Key
Tuning
Year

Notes

Requires bowing skill of a high order for correct playing. The use of two 32nd notes to be played within the time allowed for one 16th note is indicated in the older printed collections. This technique is not heard today either live or on records, new or old, and Uncle Bob is the last fiddler in my acquaintance who had this capability. Recorded by Bob Walters in November, 1949.
