Worn Out Engine Blues

  • Worn Out Engine Blues

Blind Boy Fuller (1908-41) was a street singer in Durham, North Carolina, when he was spotted by storekeeper/talent scout James B. Long (who also discovered fiddler Roland Cauley, who will appear shortly). Fuller recorded a lot of this double-meaning material, but with far more than the average class, sincerity, and musicianship.

"Blind Boy" Fuller Allen, vocal, guitar.
